It helps relieve blockages and brings serenity and inner strength to allow us to better master the challenges of our busy everyday lives. Yoga helps us heal our body, balance our spirit and find peace of mind.

Mona Madhavi – your yoga teacher at Aktiv-Panoramahotel Daniel

A typical Sivananda Yoga class will start with relaxation to prepare your body and mind for the yoga lesson. Pranayama breathing exercises will still your mind before we continue with various warm-up and stretching poses such as the sun salutation and a number of asanas in different variations. Basically, it’s all about stretching, breathing and relaxing to strengthen your body and help your back straighten out. We typically finish our lesson with a relaxed round of hot tea. :-)
