Walking in the Ötztal Alps

2 walking tours a week are organised by the hotel. Walking stick hire is included and the tour is guided by the
hotel owner. A drying room for walking boots as well as hire of walking maps, rucksacks and waterproofs are avilable on request.

High altitude hikes culminating with the ascent of a peak down to valley walks are available on request according to experience and fitness. Wonderful tours round the Piburger lake and in Niederthai.

The highlights include the high altitude circular walk to the Faltergarten-Köpfl 2184m, lift tours to the Wetterkreuz Hoch-Ötz 2591m as well as the walk to the Pirchkogel 2828m in Kühtai.
